Bonghyun Yang, Stone 2015

About the instrument:

Bonghyun Yang trained at Newark International School of Violin Making from 2007-2010 and went on to work in our workshop as a restorer.

This 2015 violin, length 358mm, is in two pieces of quarter-sawn maple with a curl of narrow-medium width; the ribs and scroll of similar wood. The front is of fine grain spruce and the varnish of a golden-brown colour.
