Wolff Bros, Germany 1906

About the instrument:

A great example of a Wolff Brothers violin for sale from their famous German workshop. The violin bears their label inside ‘WOLFF BROS., VIOLIN MANUFACTURERS. Class 4N N.3733. 1906’. 

The violin back, length 358mm, is in two pieces of quarter-sawn maple with a strong curl of narrow width; the ribs, scroll and neck of similar wood. The front is of fine grain spruce and the varnish of a light golden-brown colour.
