A English violin made by Ralph Plumb, 2022. Ralph Plumb is a contemporary English violin maker based in the North of England. Since graduating in 1991 from the Welsh School of Violin Making Ralph has acquired vast experience in some of the best workshops in the world. From Hong Kong to Cardiff and Bristol as well as Stone in Staffordshire.

The violin back, length 354mm, is in one piece of quarter-sawn maple with a strong curl of medium-thick width; the ribs, scroll and neck of similar wood. The front is of medium grain spruce and the varnish of a golden-brown colour.

Condition:

The violin is original and in mint condition.

How does it sound?

A great all round sound and powerful when you need it to be.
